Make pillowcases in prints for children to fit small travel pillows. K-Mart and Sears often have travel pillows on sale at a low price. Buy the pillows and have them available to sell with the pillowcases. I can't keep enough of them made to meet the demand. Also, sets of coasters to protect coffee tables from sweating soda cans or glasses are useful and sell well, especially in neutral colors or popular decor colors. Simple, easy to make quilt blocks do well for this and can be made from scraps that might otherwise be thrown away. (Paper-pieced stringy blocks are popular.)
