I don't think it is anything you can find or fix. I got mine taken care of when I took it in for a basic cleaning. After the fiasko with the new machine and the way it gets me all frustrated, I must say that a low bobbin indicator is no longer a "must have" for me. The thing about a low bobbin: eventually, we'll know that it is an "out of thread" bobbin. Usually it feels different immediately - so no time is lost in reseating with a full bobbin.
