My Mom and Dad are from southern Ohio and WV. They used most of these. They always said something like Ill give you dollars to donuts which I thought meant they were pretty sure of something. Also if I was any better, I would be illegal. My grandma used to say something like pickle my britches.
When I was really little, until I could read the Bible, I always thought we talked about the Father, the Son and the Holy Hose. It was very confusing to me why we cared so much about their socks.
