You are going to love your "New" machine! One thing to check when it isn't stitching is how you threaded the needle. I am left handed and threaded it from the outside (left) to the inside (right). Wrong! I was upset that it wasn't sewing and it was just back from the shop. The thread goes from the right to the left. Backwards for my left handed world so I always have to stop and think when threading my Elizabeth.
