Recently did a good clean out of fabrics.
Needed space.
Got rid of good dress fabrics and anything old so that I just have fairly up to date fabrics. Someone made a killing from my yard sale as I also had cotton fabric for quilting. Can not part with some old feed sacks though.
My mom made a wedding ring quilt and used a lot of fabrics that I gave her in the 80s so that is the best memory of any older fabrics plus seeing some that I know she used for other things.With prices of fabrics sky high now I will be a little more selective. Not sure what fabrics she had when she passed away.
Someday I should go check out what my sister has of hers.
There should be fabric scraps from when she made clothes for my little sister who is now 54
