Sorry to ignore you, but please extend my thanks and gratitude to your daughter! I really appreciate what she and her fellow Deputy's and Peace officer's do!
Any time I see an officer and s/he is not busy, AND I work up the nerve, I thank them. Always, "You're welcome." Sometimes added, "What for?"
I can imagine they do not hear that much!
