I have ants in my garden in one spot. They actually killed a Sweet William plant. Tried gathering them together with a syrup trap. Worked for a while, then they returned. Just the other day, I was using baking soda out side to clean the grill so I put some baking soda on the ground where they had their home. They have either buried deeper into the ground or moved away. It has been a week. No ants, so far.
