I was a "farm kid" and I don't ever remember learning how to drive, I just did it. We had an old '67 Chevy pickup with a three speed transmission and a hilly hay field. Dad sent us out there to learn to handle a clutch in the hills. He told us that if we could drive that truck in the hills, we could drive about anything, anywhere............he was right.
