Hang out around the magazine racks that carry quilting magazines. Or ask the owner if he knows who buys those mags. An ad in the paper wouldn't be too far out for me in your situation. I was very fortunate when I moved 1700 miles to a small town outside a 38,000 pop. town. The next month there was a quilt show & I joined the guild, the next month I was the new show chair!
