I taught my son to sew and use a sewing machine, I also gave my daughter a full sewing kit for her birthday one year when she was leaving home, sewing box the lot, nice to know that she is sill using it five years later! At her home recently we set to making curtains for her bedroom, guess what ...... out came the sewing box, everything in it all neat and tidy, I was well pleased!
