Karen. I buy a lot of fabric on-line. I used to buy mostly from a couple of USA suppliers but of course recently the exchange rate hasn't been so good. I sometimes go to Hannah's Room in Brierley near Barnsley and I love Quilt Essentials at the Arkwright mill at Cromford. Actually after buying twice as much fabric as I really need for most projects I have a big stash of fabric and I will never be able to use it up in the time I have left to quilt.
