I've done the leaf block before and very easy..really. Here's a link to the diections for 9*9 block but easy to reduce the block down to 6*6.

Log cabin bocks for the rest of the quilt are easy too. Just take time and I bet you can figure how the math. It is a gorgeous quilt. Good luck!
