Aside from her rudeness to you, being the quilt police and all, I have to admit that I am excited that she wanted to protect your quilt from damage or whatever. So many people don't have respect for all the work, time, love and money that we put into our quilts. Maybe she'd given quilts to people who used them as dog blankets after she meant for them to drape across a bed or couch. Even tho the quilt is yours to do with as you wish, she might have felt that it was being disrespected and felt she needed to 'speak up' for the quilter who made it for you ... even tho you were the one who made it.

Just saying....

not to make excuses for her behavior, just what might have prompted it. :roll:

warm quilt hugs, sue in CA ... who hopes her daughter doesn't put her wedding quilt in the barn for the cats to sleep on, pee on, hack hairballs on
