I share your excitement, having seen all of the blocks in person. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
Dagny, thanks for deciding to take a careful interest in selecting the blocks to swap. In previous swaps I've received two or more blocks from the same swapper AND they contained the same fabrics. There's no way to disguise two blocks with the same fabrics in a 12 block quilt. So, thanks again for the extra thought you're providing. Belles

Belles, the beauty of this swap is that many of us chose to do the same block design in many different color combos. I know all my blocks were different colors of the same pattern and so were Dagny's so even if Dagny is forced to duplicate a design block it is pratically guaranteed to be different colors. I can't wait to see what I get and start putting together my batik quilt with these blocks.
I too look forward eagerly to the Batik Swap. However, as I said in my reply "In previous swaps I've received two or more blocks from the same swapper AND they contained the same fabrics. There's no way to disguise two blocks with the same fabrics in a 12 block quilt." It wouldn't matter if the same pattern was used IF THE SWAPPER USED DIFFERENT FABRICS. However, I received different patterns WITH THE SAME FABRICS. Again, I appreciate the extra mile Dagny is willilng to walk to make this swap successful. Belles
