I tie T-Shirt quilts. There is no way I could hand quilt through all those layers (T-shirt plus fusible interfacing batting and backing) and the T-Shirt quilts I made were way too heavy to try and machine quilt on my domestic machine.
I tie t-shirt quilts also. They are to thick to even consider hand quilting and I doubt the effect of machine quilting would add anything to the finished project.
