Me too--early on learned "taks a mikka (sp)" and "vars a goot (sp)". Whenever they talked in Swedish it meant they were planning a surprise so be prepared for a trip to the ice cream shop!
They mean "Thank you" and "you are welcome" I think....just half for me.
Yes and I tell my own grands the Swedish versions of thank you and you're welcome.
