The very first quilt I made was done this way, but the edges wore out very quickly... I just added Wrights binding and we use it in the camper. It weighs at least a ton, too warm for the house. Oh, those were the naive days... thick, thick poly batting! Yikes, I'd never get out of quilt jail if I did that now. The quilt on our bed currently has warm and natural, and we use it both winter and summer... maybe I can get of of jail on parole with this good behavior. :lol:
