if there were enough quilts entered in the fair, maybe they'd consider coordinating a special, extra "fair" just for quilts. i know it isn't likely, but it's worth a shot.
they might be willing to give you some information and advice about how to arrange one yourself - with the help of some fellow quilters.
here's hoping that next year they do it properly. :|
