My husband knows how to fix them he is an upholsterer and he learned from his dad that passed away. He has his dad's old Singer 111W-155 sewing machine for upholstery and has kept it running. My hubby has I think at last count 7 industrial machines 1 Singer, 3 Consew's plus one Consew 225 Long arm (it's 30 inch long !) a Juki LU562 and a Brother industrial I forgot the model.
So he not only is a keeper he sews and loves sewing machines! Man did I luck out or what!?
