We heard in another thread about an ungrateful MIL. It is such a shame some people just don't know how to be gracious. My husband was like that sometimes. Just chalk it up to sometimes some people can't ever be pleased. I think it is wonderful. I would ask for it back (since he is your dad) and ask him what he would rather have. Then go shopping, don't waste your precious time on sewing for him again.
