I beg to differ with you...
carpal tunnel is caused by the nerve being pinched/restricted by the tendon in the wrist.
My surgeon clipped that tendon so there is no longer anything there to cause restriction around the nerve.

That isn't to say that you will never ever have any other problems with your hands. There are other nerves in the wrist and arm that can cause other problems like trigger finger, etc. However, if the tendon that causes restriction and the symptoms of carpal tunnel gets surgically severed, then you no longer have "carpal tunnel syndrome".
