What I pay for my long arming varies. A penny and a half to two cents a square inch for basic overal meandering type stuff up to seven cents is the most I have paid for custom. My custom work has always involved working around satin stitched applique which she has to do alot of starting/stopping, positioning types of thing and a couple different motifs which is why she told me it cost more. I have never had anything down as intricate as some of the feathers etc on this board so I cant say about that. I provide my own batting. Some places charge you extra for thread, my LA doesnt and she squares it with serger trimmed edges when she is done.
