Which wrist is it? I broke my Left about ten years ago and it wasn't so bad but two years ago broke the Right and that has been a real dozzy. I learned to use a huge heavyduty bag and sealed it with painter tape because it doesn't hurt when you take it off. Also, had to buy one of those portable battery can openers as could not use any other kind for months. It has never been strong again and I just got a new one of those rotary cutters that helps.
