I don't think glazed thread is a problem. It's nice that you can participate and learn. I've been quilting for years, and am still learning from others and from projects I've ruined. That's how I knew about the poly batting! If you can't find Insulbrite, there is a new product out called InsulFleece and I actually like it better. It is softer and doesn't crinkle like Insulbrite.
My golden retriever is Kelsey, and she is my service dog. She's very smart and handy to have around!
