I made this last night for our dinner. It was absolutely delicious. Cooked it in the crock pot all day - I used Ragu Robusto spaghetti sauce- Thanks so much for this recipe - it is an absolute keeper. I put the sausage on a hogey bun, added some onion and green pepper, put about three spoons of sauce on top and then gave us a little bowl of sauce on the side. As a matter of fact, I told #1 OAO (one and only) that if we have Christmas Eve at our home, this would be a fantastic supper. Actually, if we go out, it would be a fantastic dish to bring along! My husband raved about it all evening. The only credit I could take was the Ragu Sauce. The rest of the credit belongs to you and I always believe - Give credit where credit is due.
