When I'm putting new fabric away and see several of those "Why did I buy that?" pieces. I've found that my tastes do change and what I bought last year may not be what I like this year or I've changed my mind about the quilt I bought it for. I don't feel this is a waste because my ASG group has a fabric swap about twice a year and my destashed goes there. One man's junk is another man's treasure.
So often, a member will spot your piece and say it's just what she's been looking for. That makes you feel good.
