Ok, let's see. Back in 1981 I went to Bible camp and we each learned to make one square. Mine was a random scrappy blue and yellow thing but I was unbelievably proud of it. In 1987 I was pregnant with my first child so I dug out that quilt square and started hand sewing odd bits and pieces to it. Over the several years and 2 more pregnancies I added bits of cloth from my children's clothing and blankets. Some where around 1995 it got packed away. It is truly hideous but I can't bring myself to part with it. I'm thinking about cutting this monster into 12" squares, calling it a crazy quilt and piecing it into a picnic blanket.

I also have 2 quilt tops that my grandmother started in the 30's and a bunch of squares of other peoples UFO's that I've bought at yard sales. Some of them are close to 80 years old if I'm dating the fabrics right.
