Mariah.
What are you using for your theme?
I may be doing handkerchief blocks as my theme, hoping for it to look like spring with lots of petite flowers, etc. But I may change my mind before the deadline too, it's very exciting to think about!

Handkerchief blocks are simply hankies sewn on a background and then hand quilted. But the ones I have are so very special to me, I asked family and friends to send me handkerchiefs. I got the most amazing, beautiful, make-me-smile, handkerchiefs. One is actually from Japan, one was given to me by mother and it originally belonged to my great aunt. I sewed mine onto a white background fabric and then added borders to make a full-size bed quilt (still haven't finished it yet though  ). I'm going to try to post a picture on here, but not sure how - will try though. For this challenge I will probably use a lighter color background or go with white again. It makes it look so crisp and fresh!

You can buy them in stores though, and not just those red and blue ones that men typically use. They have beautiful ones that would be beautiful on a quilt or wall-hanging.

I love purple and this is one of my favs.
