If you really want to see what the fabric is like order the packages of charm squares. It is so inexpensive you can see and feel the fabric for a very low price. I ordered charm squares of almost every kind that they have and I am very pleased with what I have. I also like their thread.

Spend what you can afford for your quilts, don't just order expensive fabric because you think you have to in order to make nice quilts - nice quilts can be made with bargain fabric as well.

Also I totally disagree with people who say to use cheap, low quality fabric for charity quilts - why in heavens name give something that you think is not good enough for yourself to a charity - if it is not good enough for yourself or your family why is it good enough for someone down on their luck - the money you spend on making that cheap quilt for charity could have bought a nice heavy blanket at Wal-Mart instead. (my opinion but something that really bugs me)
