I use single crochet for the first row and put 3 single crochet in each corner to make the edges round. Then depending on my mood I make different edges using different stitches.
The hardest part is using the awl to punch the holes!
I saw a new blade on Nancys Notions that cuts the holes for you..
Thank you, this is what I was looking for. Wish it came with the cutter too so I wouldn't have to change it out with my regular blade
