You did indeed see a similar (but not identical) quilt on the Amish websites. I saw those quilts and was hooked on the design (which is not original to the Amish sites), but couldn't find a pattern anywhere.
However, the pattern that Eleanor has in her book for the Star Log Cabin is not even remotely similar to the Diamond Star Log Cabin. Her pattern for the Diamond Log Cabin table cloth is a little closer, but still not the same. As far as I know, I have the only pattern that is available for this design.
