I had the equivalent in my shoulder from painting this house when we moved in. The Dr. gave me a steroid injection and all the pain just vanished - so I went back and got on with the job of painting. But when the effect of the steroid wore off boy did it hurt!
Dr. was furious. Said he had given me the injection so that I should not suffer, but had not said I could work. He did give me another injection and then threatened to strap my arm to my body! It took a while, but it did heal. Its a question of patience which I always find is in short supply.
