I too have this recipe. Except I use wax paper its more pliable than foil. I use the box cause its cheap. You dont have to keep it in there all the time. If you want to give as a give you could wrap in plastic wrap after it has set and then in a box. I hate fruit cake but love this one. It taste more like candy than cake. I just put mine in the refrigerator for aday or two until it is set. Then you dont have to thaw and it doest become sticky when you cut it.
