I had surgery on my foot to correct my fallen arch, torn tendon
and my foot alignment. Will go into a walking boot Dec. 23.
Meanwhile I have been in a hard cast with foot in the air, so the
computer has been my life line.
Right after I got home my husband got a blood infection, after
scaring us and the doctor [ ortho. ] to death spent 22 days in
the hospital. He is now home, still on antibiotics and doing
therapy twice a week. Now 2 invalids in the house!
Being on the computer so much, the quilting board is my
daily place to visit and I am learning so much from all of you.
A dear friend told me about the fab shop hop so I tried it, and
won 20 yards of beautiful quality fabric! I can't believe it, it was
so much fun and you find some really nice shops along the way.
My husband and I are very blessed to have our daughter at
home. She is a RN, CCRN, CCR nurse, and is finishing her
required classes to take mcat and hopefully go to medical
school, plus she works full time and does volunteer work. She
has been great at taking care of us both ,on top of everything
else she does. She is a life saver in more ways than one, we
are truly blessed!!
