I worked for a while in the summer at a store in Talkeetna, Alaska. People wanted to pay the same for a hand done quilt as for one of those made in Indonesia. I told them to buy the one from Indonesia and wash it, then come and see the locally done quilts. They would find the prices more than reasonable. The old addage stands firm.
