http://www.canbyquilts.com/kits.html -- is made from 5 yards of gradient fabric that goes from bright yellow to deep purple. It has to be carefully cut to get four triangles of the right color in each square; then the borders have to be cut to make the "fire" appear in the right place.
The pattern suggested a swirl design for the quilting. But my quilter used a flame design, which we thought was appropriate!
