Marcia this is just a two color quilt - I made it with a red batik (a Princess Mirah batik I believe it was called) so it has a look of more than one red though. The background fabric was called "buttercream"
To get an idea though of how many colors it takes if you want each block or triangle different there are 52 pieced triangles I believe and 169 pieced blocks plus 4 corners so each of these would use a color plus a background.[/quote]

I guess I wasn't clear in asking how many colors you used
to make your quilt. I was wondering if you used many
different reds, or just one, plus the cream background.
I didn't know if you used many different reds, or basically
one, or even a few. Just wondering.
