Our group uses the Black & Decker cordless scissors, found in the hardware section, under$20 & sometimes at Big Lots for $8. They are wonderful, strong, fast, & can cut thru 8 layers, so much better than the electric scissors found in the sewing stores. We do a lot of charity sewing (Dignity gowns & Christmas stockings) & it is so easy & fast to use the Black & Deckers & easy to around curves.
