What I would like to know is how some have their machines facing a wall. What do you do to quilt a large piece. My cutting table is outside my sewing room so I can keep it open. Most of my center floor space is taken up by a queen size bed. My machine's right side is towards the wall so I can put a folding table to left or in front of the machine table for more space.
My table has a bit of space behind the machine so I let the quilt smush up against the wall. I haven't had a chance to do any sewing yet so I will see how it works out. If need be I guess I could pull it out and put another table behind.
