I mailed the quilt off this morning...I hope it gets there okay. I will definitely let you know what her reaction to it is. Also, when I shipped it, I had to declare the value. I said $200, which is about double the cost of the materials. Does that sound too high??
I have been told that using the Post Office for quilts, that they will only pay with receipts for the material & threads that made the quilt. Nothing will be paid for your time unfortunately. I pray that the quilt will make it there and you will not have to worry about a lost claim.
