Thank you so much for sharing your sewing machine needle injury with us. I have done it many times, actually have a small callous on the side of my left index finger. The next time I was in the fabric store, I asked if anyone had actually put the sewing machine needle through their finger. The lady waiting on me said she had and recommended long, curved tweezers. Work like a charm. Now I don't feel so dumb, I'm in good company!
