That was true in my case. I am 55 years old and had to have my Thyroid removed when I was 17 due to an auto-immune disease called "Hashimotos". I remember the doctor taking a very careful look at my eyebrows when he examined me. I had hairs everywhere! They even grew down onto my eyelids. Try plucking those without crying! I also have diabetes, which is linked to Thyroid issues. The Diabetes has caused poor circulation in my feet and lower legs so I have no hair on my toes and lower legs and just a little right under my knee.
