I have had many hobbies during my life including knitting, embroidery, and various other crafts, but never sewing! However, I recently inherited 28 handstiched pinwheel squares sewn by my great great grandmother. This inspired me to research quilting and purchase a sewing machine. I have read tons of posts here and many other sites and even dream about ways to create a quilt, but I'm quite nervous about actually beginning a quilt. I'm pretty sure that I will make a "practice" quilt before I attempt to do anything with the treasured squares. I'm enjoying reading all of your posts and seeing what you create.
