This is so true. When I was newly married my DH and I visited with my DS and her DH. My DS made dinner and her DH didn't like her choice of steak cut and he made a nasty remark. My DH told me later, "I'll never do that to you." Throughout our marriage, if he doesn't like something I've cooked, (he's not crazy about casseroles)he just eats it and doesn't say anything. When I ask if I should I try it again, he'll just say, "Don't make that one again." Bless his heart.
