Right now I am working on a quilt for my daughter and I bought the thicker batt and that is a real problem when trying to fit it thru the opening in my machine. No more thick batting for me. With the reg. batt I have no trouble.
Yes, the first quilt that I ever did (completely by hand), I made the mistake of thick wadding...it dampened my enthusiasm for hand quilting and put me off thick wadding forever.
