I am so suprised at the posts who's husbands have a negative attitude with sewing/quilting.
My DH is use to it as his whole family quilts (this is how I learned). So this was the enviorment he was reared in.
His aging sister now has alzheimers and I received her old quilting frames. I brought them home from her daughters house and DH happily unloaded them for me and took them downstairs.
We have respect for each others interests. He is into sports big time. When he goes to a game I am happy that he can go since this is his interest. He has no objections to my interests.
We are retired now and timing between us is working out fine!
