Hang in there with the binding and RELAX - I find when I am worrying about whether my work is any good is when I discover I've sewed the darn thing together inside out. I've even pinned things inside out and not noticed it. I think on my first and only quilt I spent a third quilting, and two-thirds ripping out the stuff I did wrong. Keep the faith!
