I use Freecycle to give things away. I answer posts if I have the wanted things. I have a gate a small distance from the house and that's where I leave the items. What gets me is the people that don't bother with a thank you. One lady wanted quilts for the hospice. I gave her five tops and change the pickup day more times than I can remember. Well I guess she picked them up as she never bother to let me know. I have gotten a few things from Freecyle too. The first thing I do is send an email thanking them, also to let them know the right person picked up. Just venting. Freecyle is a good thing and I'll keep giving even if no one says thank you.
