I did the same thing with my flying geese! - and they are handstiched too! Now I have four borders of white triangles on dark green...I am going to have to design a quilt to fit the borders!
It won't fit any of my ufqts (unfinished quilt tops).
I am working on a hand made 3D bow tie quilt ( sweet pea blossoms and fern batik ) for a donation to suport the art center, and since I know a nun in a hospital who always wants little quilts to give to sick kids, I am working on 10 of them. She likes the picture panel quilts - so some of them will be easy - just adding binding!
My problem is my new furnace can't keep up with the cold
that is very unusual here....my quilting room is 50* YIK!
...my hands get stiff when it is chilly,because I am eightyone, I think! Double YIK!
