Notice you don't put loops - there was resistance when I proposed this to my group but when no one could say they actually hung up their potholders we've been going 'loopless' ever since.
Yes, occasionally when I give people potholders they mention that there aren't any loops, but most people put thier potholders in a drawer, so I don't know what the big deal is... Anyway, loops are just another step, so I don't do them.
